August 20th would have been "Dimebag" Darrell's 45th birthday, and like every birthday since he has passed, there has been an event held in Dallas called Ride for Dime. It started off as just a bike ride, and then it slowly morphed into an event honoring the greatest fucking guitar player who ever lived. MTV2's Headbanger's Ball was out in Dallas shooting its memorial episode at the event. Jose Mangin, who hosts Headbanger's Ball and who is also a DJ on SiriusXM's Liquid Metal radio station, played host to the event. The footage is now online. For those of you who were there, it was fucking crazy right? The vibes were amazing, nothing but positive energy, paying tribute to the Pink Beard in the Sky.
