Boy, Rolling Stone absolutely nailed their The 10 Best Metal Albums of 2019 with some seriously great and underrated artists.
Sure, you've got your mainstream acts in here like Slipknot, Rammstein, and Korn, but writers Suzy Exposito, Kory Grow, and Hank Shteamer picked out some really fantastic underground-ish artists like Tomb Mold and Moon Tooth as well.
The latter of which has been my album of the year pretty much unwaveringly all year.
