You may have heard that longtime AC/DC drummer Phil Rudd has some issues with the law he needs to clear up. But AC/DC have a new album out and they are gearing up to hit the road. But who would they get to fill in behind the drumkit?
Looks like they'll be getting former drummer Chris Slade, who played with the group from 1989 to 1994. He famously played on the album featuring "Thunderstruck," The Razor's Edge.
Now, AC/DC have not officially announced their new drummer, but word got out on the internet today. Who leaked the info? Their label? Their booking agent? Nope, not even close. The rumor came about when Slade had to cancel an appearance at an optometrist's office:
In the comments of the post, Dr. Lui goes on to say there is "actually big news regarding Slade and his career coming in next several days which is why he had to reschedule this event." So, it's all but a lock. We'll keep you posted when the official announcement happens.
