Here we go again! We've been following all the Big Four rumors since they started circulating earlier this year. Eventually, what came about was a few European festival shows and a live DVD with promises of more eventually. In September, Mustaine hinted from the stage that something might be cooking and then over the weekend he posted the above tweet.
It doesn't take a rocket scientist to figure out that the capitalization of the word "Big" would imply that he's talking about the Big 4 and that we may finally see the package come to the States. Well, fuckin' finally! A previous tweet suggested the tour would be hitting "North America, Europe and the U.K." The question now is, how big a venue would these guys play? Megadeth, Slayer and Anthrax on their own were playing arenas (albeit with half of the arena closed off, at least during the NY show). Seeing as though it's going to happen during the Summer, and due to Metallica's love of stadiums (see Summer Sanitarium tours), I have to assume this will be a football stadium tour, meaning these will be the biggest audiences that the bottom 3 bands have played to in forever. Regardless, I will be on board. Will you?
