We might still be in the dead of winter but summer tour rumors are beginning to heat up. Lamb Of God frontman RandyBlythe recently alluded to the fact that the band may be planning a major summer tour, and we got excited.
Today, a new interview with Testament guitarist Alex Skolnick has us more excited. Skolnick told Music & Art Interviews that Testament "just signed on to a North American tour that I can't talk about yet." He adds it'll be "one of the biggest tours of the year," but can't elaborate any further.
While we don't have any concrete facts as to who is touring with whom, the metal media is already speculating on what is going on.
Blabbermouth seems to think the lineup for the tour Skolnik is hinting at will involve Testament and Slayer, in some sort of rebirth of the old Clash of the Titans tour. While The PRP brings Lamb Of God into the rumor fold.
With Slayer, Lamb of God and Behemoth touring in the summer of 2017, it seems odd that Slayer and Lamb of God would team up again, but stranger things have happened.
