…Stone Sour drummer Roy Mayorga.
Blabbermouth reports the former Soulfly skinsman and current Stone Sour drummer is rumored to be the one hired by Hellyeah to fill in for the late Vinnie Paul for the band's touring commitments on their upcoming album.
Speculation as to Mayorga's involvement began when Mayorga began posting photos of his current drum kit set up which closely matched that of Vinnie Paul:
Hellyeah have announced their first show since the tragic passing of drummer Vinnie Paul last June. Paul died of a heart attack. "HELLYEAH: A Celebration Of The Life Of Vinnie Paul" will be held at the House Of Blues in Las Vegas, NV on Saturday, May 11th. Special guests are expected to be joining the band to celebrate one of the greatest drummers in metal history. Tickets are available here.
The band's new album has a June 28th release date. There is no title or cover image yet, but pre-orders are available. Listen to the first single, "333" here.
