Samael's discography is an interesting one. The band released black metal classics like Ceremony of Opposites and Passage in the mid-1990s, and later on wrote killer industrial black metal albums like 2011's Lux Mundi. Unfortunately, the latter is the last we'd heard from Samael for a little while, but that changes in 2017!
Samael has announced that is has signed with Napalm Records, and that it will be releasing a new album sometime this year. This will be the band's first album with ex-Sybreed guitarist Thomas "Drop RMX" Betrisey on bass, which is super exciting considering how damn good he is at crafting insanely menacing industrial metal.
This is really something every metal fan should be looking forward to.
