Orchestral metal masters Septicflesh are looking to follow up what's been widely regarded as their best album to date The Great Mass, and the details are getting me all hot and bothered. Can you say children's choir and full orchestra?
Septicflesh are apparently getting recording underway over at Devasoundz Studios in Athens, Greece (where they're from) along with Logan Mader (Cavalera Conspiracy, Fear Factory) as the producer. The band also got a hold of the Prague Philharmonic Orchestra for the record just like they did with The Great Mass, and both regular and children's choirs are expected to be utilized. The press release also cites the effort as a "ten song outing" and will be out on Prosthetic in early 2014. Oh God yes.
