Last August there was a pretty lengthy statement made by Shadows Fall regarding its "indefinite hiatus". The only caveat thrown in there was that the group would occasionally be seen at a festival or two, so its a little less Isis and a little more The Red Chord in terms of being on a break.
So little over half a year after the group announcing its essentially doing one step short of nothing, vocalist Brian Fair comes out and says the group might do a little touring next year.
Not sure. I know it will happen but looking more like next year or later. All of us have a lot going on right now. https://t.co/lvka6hrmPi

Touring isn't exactly an end to a hiatus though. Touring and maybe a few festival appearances is just that- live performances. However, Fair is then asked by a fan if the group would ever make more music and Fair says the answer isn't no!
We haven't ruled out new music. Still love writing and playing together. Was just time to take a break from touring. https://t.co/wzxhoSSwhv
