Slipknot's website may have gone dark a few weeks ago, but we've finally got some band-related news. They have just announced that they are bringing Knotfest to JapanĀ November 15-16 at the Makuhari Messe in Tokyo.
They promise to bring a ton of bands over, but none have been announced yet. This will be the second iteration of Knotfest with the first happening two summers ago in Iowa and Wisconsin and featured bands such asĀ Machine Head, Cannibal Corpse, Lamb of God & Deftones.
Clown offered the following message announcing the festival to bands:

Could this mean that the band will have their album out by November? I feel like they've been suggesting it'd be done by summer, but who knows. The band have yet to formally announce a replacement for drummer Joey Jordison.
