When Slipknot drummer Jay Weinberg was a kid, way before he was in any notable band, he was a huge Slipknot fan. Weinberg has a great photo of him meeting the band for the first time ever wearing a homemade Corey Taylor helmet in the early 2000s, courtesy of his father and famed drummer Max Weinberg.
Now that Jay is in the band, he had a great opportunity to recreate the photo with his father and guitarist Jim Root before the band's August 30 show at the PNC Bank Arts Center in Holmdel, NJ.
