Longtime Slipknot percussionist Chris Fehn left the band on bad terms in 2019 and was replaced with a guy we only knew as Tortilla Man, called that because his mask looks like a tortilla.
Fans have been trying to figure out who Tortilla Man is ever since then, with one prevailing theory saying he is musician Michael Pfaff. The theory is based off Pfaff paying with percussionist Shawn "Clown" Crahan in another band called Dirty Rabbits, as well as a series of Instagram accounts linking Pfaff to the band. There was another theory that Tortilla Man is Zach Hill (Death Grips, Team Sleep), though nothing really came of that.
Turns out that first theory was right. Tortilla Man is Michael Pfaff.
The Postojna Cave Facebook page recently posted a photo of "three members of the famous American heavy metal band Slipknot," which featured Crahan, drummer Jay Weinberg, and none other than Pfaff.
