Noah Weiland, son of late Stone Temple Pilots vocalist Scott Weiland, and Tye Trujillo, son of Metallica bassist Robert Trujillo, have formed a new band called Blu Weekend. The duo were originally together in a previous band called Suspect208 with drummer London Hudson, son of Guns N' Roses guitarist Slash, but they broke up earlier this year.
The duo recently spoke with The Blairing Out With Eric Blair Show, confirming the pairing and mentioning they'll be rounded out by drummer Jackson Morris and guitarist Anthony Laurie. No new music has yet come from the band, but they did play a show last weekend.
