Now, following Sum 41's announcement of an announcement from singer Deryck Whibley, fan speculation has kicked into overdrive, with many believing that Whibley will fill the late Chester Bennington's role in Linkin Park. Speculation is further stoked by the fact that Sum 41 will conclude in January 2025, which would line up perfectly with the Linkin Park rumors.
