Taco Bell's Feed The Beat Program Sponsors RIVERS OF NIHIL, INFERI, WOLFHEART & More

Tyrant and Striker too!

Tyrant and Striker too!

In 2006, Taco Bell rolled out the Feed The Beat program. The program "boosts exposure for various artists by giving them a stage at events around the country, featuring their music in national television commercials, and providing amplification through Taco Bell’s social presence," as well as supplies them with a $500 gift card to use at Taco Bell locations on the road. Which is huge – that's $500 that bands don't have to spend on food.

This year, Taco Bell made some pretty interesting choices in metal. The brand chose Rivers of Nihil, Wolfheart, Inferi, Tyrant and Striker in the metal categories, and man are we really hoping they feature any of those bands in their commercials. Though from a slightly different perspective, Taco Bell chooses over 1,500 bands each year for the program… so five metal bands of over 1,500 isn't a great number.

Regardless, congratulations to all five of the bands!
