I was introduced to The Surrealist last year with their atmospheric Animals As Leaders meets Plini debut EP, Naked Awareness. You can check out my thoughts on that release by clicking here. The duo has continued to consistently release experimental instrumental music since including "Self Spiral," "Lux," and "Origami."
Their most recent single, "Echo End" furthers their progressive identity through a soundscape of layering that is equally calming and engaging alike post-rock on steroids. You can listen to the track and watch the music video below.
