This morning I got an email from Agonia Records letting me know that Threat Signal would be doing a brief Canadian tour celebrating the tenth anniversary of its record Under Reprisal, which you can get the dates for below. While that's all well and good, and should be a fun time, the real news was at the bottom of the email — Threat Signal finally has a new record coming out.
This would be the band's first album since its 2011 self-titled effort, and that's pretty exciting. The band has been done with the record since last August, though it's also the last record that drummer Joey Muha played on. As of right now, the band is drummer-less as far as we know.
On the flip side of the record being someone's last, it's also someone's first! That being guitarist Matt Perrin (AngelMaker, etc.), who joined the group in 2013 and hasn't had the chance to be on a Threat Signal record yet.
Disconnect will be out in later 2016 via Agonia Records, and here are the dates for the Under Reprisal tour.
