Multiple local San Diego outlets have confirmed that the preliminary hearing has concluded and a decision has been made. Above, a UT San Diego report confirms the case is going to trial.
Lambesis appeared in front of San Diego Superior Court Judge Robert Kearney in Vista, CA earlier today, with prosecution witnesses taking the stand, including the detective who posted as a hitman, identified as Howard Bradley.
To refresh, Lambesis was arrested on May 7th for attempting to hire a hitman to murder his wife. The supposed hitman ended up being an undercover cop. Lambesis, who pleaded not guilty, is currently out on $2 million bond after paying $160,000 to a bail bondsman. Lambesis has been on house arrest since release, with few exceptions.
Footage from the courtroom aired on a local CBS affiliate earlier this afternoon…

Note: Lambesis could be facing NINE years in prison, not ninety, as it may have sounded from the report above.
No word on what date has been set for the trial. Details are still scarce, we will update this story when we get more info.
Update The Assosiated Press is reporting that Lambesis' next court date will be on October 22nd, when a date for his trial will be set.
