Update: Shannon Jendrock, mother of formerly missing person Jacob Clark-Jendrock, has issued a statement saying both Jacob and Anthony Acosta have been found. The original story follows after this update.
"UPDATE- Jacob and Anthony have been located and are safe!!!" wrote Jendrock. "Thank you to everyone who have been helping look for them, calling hospitals, praying. Also thank you to the AFTERSHOCK FESTIVAL community for all the tips and shares. I appreciate everyone of them!"
Original story: Two men are reported missing after attending the Aftershock Festival in Sacramento, CA between October 5 and 8. Jacob Clark-Jendrock, 24, and Anthony Acosta, 32, drove from Southern California to Discovery Park for Aftershock, and have been missing ever since their departure from the festival grounds.
"My son attended the festival with a friend. His name is Jacob Clark-Jendrock," said Clark's mother Shannon Jendrock wrote. "His friend's name is Anthony Acosta. They drove from Southern California. They have not returned and no one has heard from them since Saturday night. His and his friends' phones are both dead."
"We live in Palm Springs, so he would have been driving from Sacramento back home. I have filed a missing person report with Sacramento PD, but have not heard anything. If you have seen him or have any information please message me."
Jendrock has since confirmed that Acosta's parents have also filed a missing persons report. "Update—the boys still have not been found. Anthony's parents have now made a missing person report for him. I have posted to my main page as well."
Aftershock producer Danny Wimmer Presents has since commented to KCRA, saying "We are in contact with the families and local police regarding any information we have as they investigate these potential missing persons."
Anyone with information was asked to contact the Sacramento Police Department at +916-808-5471.
