When guitarist Jeff Loomis and drummer Van Williams announced they were out of Nevermore, we pretty much called the band finito, but frontman Warrel Dale feels differently about the situation. In a recent interview, he insisted the band is not dead, but also went on to say him and bassist Jim Sheppard are more focused on the reunion of their previous project, Sanctuary saying:
"Sanctuary is just the focus now, and oh, holy shit, when you hear [the new material], you will know why" also adding that guitarist Lenny Rutledge "is writing some amazing thrash [that is] gonna cut your brains in half."
Sanctuary is expected to have a big announcement later this week. As for Nevermore, it's clear that you shouldn't hold your breathe for anything happening with that group for quite a while.
