Sometimes Iron Maiden plays soccer with its fans before a concert, and sometimes frontman Bruce Dickinson flies a historic bomber. Before the band's show in Toronto over the weekend, Dickinson got to take out the Canadian Warplane Heritage Museum's Lancaster Bomber for a spin in the skies.
According to CBC News, the plane holds a special place in Dickinson's heart, as it's the first "first model airplane he ever built as a young lad was a Lancaster." Y'know, just in case Dickinson hadn't had enough of flying after flying the band's plane around the world, right?
