Watch: IRON MAIDEN's Bruce Dickinson Flying A Classic Bomber Plane

Just in case Dickinson didn't do enough flying on the band's world tour.

Just in case Dickinson didn't do enough flying on the band's world tour.

Sometimes Iron Maiden plays soccer with its fans before a concert, and sometimes frontman Bruce Dickinson flies a historic bomber. Before the band's show in Toronto over the weekend, Dickinson got to take out the Canadian Warplane Heritage Museum's Lancaster Bomber for a spin in the skies.

According to CBC News, the plane holds a special place in Dickinson's heart, as it's the first "first model airplane he ever built as a young lad was a Lancaster." Y'know, just in case Dickinson hadn't had enough of flying after flying the band's plane around the world, right?
