Wisdom In Chains and their founding vocalist Mad Joe Black have parted ways. Wisdom In Chains has recruited former Death Before Dishonor vocalist Frankie Poupolo, who you might also know from the This Is Hardcore podcast.
Wisdom In Chains is currently working on their first new music since Nothing In Nature Respects Weakness in 2018. Wisdom In Chains issued the following statement regarding Mad Joe Black's departure.
"We have a new singer, we have parted with Mad Joe. After many years, and many albums that we are really proud of, we’d like to welcome as our new frontman Frankie Poupolo.
"If you are not familiar with Frankie, check out the This Is Hardcore podcast, his first show with his new band will be This Is Hardcore. We have known Frankie forever, some of us have been in side projects with him, he has done guest vocals with us on a song called 'My Promise' in the past, Richie was is a side band called Trust in Few with him, and Mad Joe did guest vocals with Frankie’s acoustic stuff.
"You will love him, and we are getting to work asap, writing and recording. All our respect to Mad Joe, who we consider one of the best lyricist in the game. He has a project called @cooltonebrown that everyone should check out.
