Devin Townsend promised he'd be getting heavier and play some Strapping Young Lad live in 2020 and now we know who he's chosen as his backing band. Townsend has recruited guitarist Wes Hauch (ex-The Faceless, Black Crown Initiate), bassist Kyle Konkiel (Bad Wolves), and drummer Dirk Verbeuren (Megadeth, ex-Soilwork) for his heavier sets that will take place this coming summer.
The volume 2 shows are limited and mainly in the summer. Catch them if you can :)

That tour will have support from Haken and The Contortionist and will happen this coming February and March.
