Scion A/V has been a great purveyor of heavy metal. They have released excellent free EPs from the likes of Arsis, Magrudergrind, Enslaved, Wormrot and later today The Gates of Slumber. But, if the latest teaser is any indication, they may be releasing their biggest free EP yet… from Meshuggah, nay… MESSHHUUGGGAHHHHHHHH.
The corporate sock manufacturer posted the above image on their Facebook with the caption "We’ve got something special coming to you from Meshuggah next Tuesday."
All signs point to free EP, it's the Scion way. Scion released an EP of Meshuggah's single, "I Am Colossus" last year right before the release of Koloss. I say, this is some entirely new Meshuggah material out just in time for their February tour with Animals As Leaders and Intronaut (dates here).
In all fairness, it could be a live EP, it could be a music video of some sorts. But, I'd wager it's a new song or two.
