Earlier today, the rock and metal community were shocked to learn that Dave Mustaine has been diagnosed with throat cancer. The Megadeth frontman revealed the news in a social media post, and said he was already in treatment and doctors believe the treatment has a 90% success rate. Mustaine promised to continue working on the band's new album.
The community was quick to show an outpouring of support for the thrash legends. Comments, tweets and shares came pouring in, especially on Mustaine's Instagram page. In the comments, several notable metal musicians showed their support.
