Nasum is by far one of my favorite grindcore bands and Mieszko Talarczyk (R.I.P.) is by far one of my favorite vocalists in the genre. Go listen to the group's live album Doombringer and try to tell me both Talarczyk and Jon Lindqvist don't bring an insane energy to the microphone.
So back in 1997, Talarczyk and Nasum drummer Anders Jakobson had a death metal project called Bloodshed and it was straigh up crunchy 1990s Swedish death metal all the way! There was one three-song demo and the group was never heard from again… which sucks. Fortunately, Bone Records got a hold of the tapes and got the legendary Dan Swanö to revamp them!
Check out the revitalized version below and, to my knowledge this is the only way to get one, email the label at [email protected] for a copy. There is 400 black 7" available and 100 red, and once they're gone, they're gone!
