Young and In the Way recently played the Lexington Avenue Brewery in Asheville, NC, for presumably the last time. The band played the back room at the venue and during their performance they sprayed animal blood all over the crowd. This was an act the venue was none too pleased with. The damage was so severe the venue had to temporarily shut down.

There are currently signs on the doors of the venue explaining the situation to patrons, according to Ashevegas.
“Sorry for the inconvenience, we are closed for the next few days for reasons beyond our control. We appreciate your patronage and look forward to seeing you again soon.”
The website also reports various Twitter users saying they were there and to have photos, though none were readily available upon searching the website. Still… damn! I get putting on a show and everything, but the band might want to clear it with the venue next time, or at least figure out a way to clean up after themselves, the way bands like Gwar do it. Conversely, the venue might want to look into the past shows of the acts they're putting on their stage.

Update: The Buncombe County Health Department apparently shut down the venue due to the blood according to this local news report:
