MOTORHEAD Covered ROLLING STONES Classic At Triple H's Behest

The Game does A&R too?

The Game does A&R too?

When Motorhead revealed the tracklisting for their new album, XXXX: Bad Magic, we noted that we were really looking forward to hearing their cover of Rolling Stones' "Sympathy for the Devil." Looks like we're not the only ones.

Uproxx notes that in a new interview with Metal Hammer, Lemmy reveals that it was WWE legend Triple H who suggested to him that Motorhead rip through the Stones tune. Lemmy and Motorhead have of course created not one, not two, but three separate entrance themes for Triple H (one being for his faction Evolution), as we noted in our list of most metal wrestling entrance themes.

No word on if Triple H requested it so he could use it as a new entrance theme, or he just likes to call Lemmy and tell him what songs to play for his personal amusement. I wish we all had that luxury.
