Van Halen performed for the first time ever on national TV earlier this week when they appeared on Jimmy Kimmel Live to promote their new tour and live album.
You may have noticed something. During the performance of Panama, David Lee Roth had a bandage on his nose:

Turns out Roth needed fourteen stiches:
