If you're anything like me, you gravitate towards moody music to get you through times of uncertainty and pain. It might seem counterproductive, but depressing music has always been my favorite in any situation. You can find moody tracks from the most metal of bands, usually an album finale, to the softest of singer/songwriters. In a way, it breaks down the barrier or genre because it collectively reaches the same feelings.
This playlist is just under 4 hours, but features just a short supply of my favorites ranging in everything from the well known Type O Negative, Cult of Luna, Chelsea Wolfe, Radiohead, Converge and Nine Inch Nails to some of my personal smaller favorites like A.A. Williams, Wovenhand, O'Brother, Jonathan Hulten, Del Judas and more.
