KORN's Jonathan Davis Wants To Bring Back Family Values Tour with Trap Artists

The Family Values Tour was created by Korn in 1998 and has sporadically existed over the next decade. The tour took place in 1998 and 1999, then again in 2001, 2006, and 2007, and was a one-off festival in 2013. So it's safe to say that Family Values never really disappeared so much as it has just gone into hibernation here and there.

Now Korn vocalist Jonathan Davis tells Metal Hammer that the festival or tour could happen again, and he'd like to bring out some trap artists to represent what's going on in music in recent years. For those unaware, trap artists are dudes like Future, Migos, and Gucci Mane.

"Family Values could definitely happen again. I’d like to bring out trap artists and things reflecting what’s going on right now in music, just like we did back in the day. There’s plenty of aggressive acts in all forms of music that could tour together and do a new Family Values so it’s definitely something we could look at doing again in the future."

Family Values having rap on it wouldn't be anything new either. The tour has had acts like Ice Cube, Mobb Deep, Hollywood Undead, and Machine Gun Kelly as acts before. If anything, I think it would be way harder for Korn to find a fitting group of nu-metal bands for the trek.
