SLAYER's Final Show: Here's Video, Setlist & Celebrity Sightings

Slayer

Last night, Saturday, November 30th, Slayer played what is being billed as "their final show" at Los Angeles's Fabulous Forum. Even though I'm all the way on the east coast, the energy was palpable on social media for how excited everybody was to attend.

My social media feed lit up this morning with west coast friends sharing their moments from the show. It definitely seemed like one for the ages.

Slayer played a rackous 20 song set, playing all the hits, and some deep cuts for longtime fans. Here is the setlist:

  1. South of Heaven
  2. Repentless
  3. Postmortem
  4. World Painted Blood
  5. Hate Worldwide
  6. War Ensemble
  7. Stain of Mind
  8. Disciple
  9. When the Stillness Comes
  10. (Clean intro was skipped)
  11. Born of Fire
  12. Payback
  13. Seasons in the Abyss
  14. Jesus Saves
  15. Chemical Warfare
  16. Hell Awaits
  17. Dead Skin Mask
  18. Show No Mercy
  19. Raining Blood
  20. Mandatory Suicide
  21. Angel of Death

So many celebrity sightings in the crowd as well. Post Malone was spotted in the VIP section.

His majesty, King Diamond was also in attendance, although slightly incognito:

Comedian, and noted metalhead, Bill Burr also attended:

Actor Jason Mamoa and his son were even seen getting up on stage with opener Phil Anselmo to cover some classic Pantera. According to Liquid Metal DJ, Jose Mangin, Anthrax's Scott Ian and his son were also spotted rocking out side-stage.

Thank you, Slayer. We don't know what the future holds, but it's been a hell of a ride.
