The metal and hardcore community is still stunned by the sudden death of bassist and vocalist Caleb Scofield. Scofield played in Cave In, Old Man Gloom and Zozobra.
He died earlier this week in a horrific car accident. He was only 39 years old and left behind a wife and two kids. A YouCaring fundraiser has been set up and friends of his took to social media to spread the word and give their condolences.
We are shocked and devastated by the passing of Caleb Scofield. He was one of a kind, our best friend and an unfathomable world of inspiration. Thank you for your support, and for understanding how difficult this is for us. Please donate to his family: https://t.co/xOkUeg3fDu

Saddened by the sudden death of Caleb Scofield. Great guy and was a pleasure working with him on the last two OLD MAN GLOOM albums. But those Cave In albums, genre defining and damn did they ever hit me hard. Please consider this fundraiser: https://t.co/LhxaqnlgYp
