Avenged Sevenfold have a very busy summer ahead of them, opening for Metallica on a massive stadium tour. Metallica like to take some serious breaks in between touring. They have a rule that they only hit the road two weeks at a time. Quite a luxury when you've reached the status of Metallica.
But Avenged are not there yet, and instead of sitting at home they've padded their routing with new tour dates hitting spots the Metallica tour will miss. The band will be taking out Volbeat for some of the dates and A Day to Remember for the other dates. Here's the routing:
With Volbeat:
06/19 Mt. Pleasant, MI – Soaring Eagle Casino Resort
07/10 Cincinnati, OH – Riverbend Music Center
07/18 Gilford, NH – Bank of New Hampshire Pavilion
With A Day to Remember:
07/28 Mountain View, CA – Shoreline Amphitheatre
07/31 Sacramento, CA – Golden 1 Center
08/03 Albuquerque, NM – Isleta Amphitheater
08/11 Salt Lake City, UT – USANA Amphitheatre
08/12 Nampa, ID – Ford Idaho Center Amphitheater
I'm guessing since the dates were announced today that they expect to go on sale this Friday at 10am local time, but check your local ticketing outlet for more info.
