Cave In, Converge and Old Man Gloom originally played one show in memory of late bassist Caleb Scofield, who tragically passed away in an automotive accident earlier this year. The show took place at The Royale in Boston, MA in June, and then a second Scofield memorial show took place in in Los Angeles, featuring Isis reuniting as Celestial, 27, Old Man Gloom and Pelican. The shows have since been chronicled into a documentary.
Now a third show has been announced for April 12, 2019. The show will be Cave In's first UK show in over 10 years, and will see the band supported by Old Man Gloom and Bossk. Here's what Cave In frontman Stephen Brodsky had to say about the show.
“The UK holds countless memories of crazy times with Cave In. It will be our pleasure to give the good people of England a chance to celebrate the life and art of Caleb Scofield, by offering a partial donation of proceeds from that night to the Scofield family. We hope that you’ll join us and our close friends Old Man Gloom, as well as one of your finest musical exports Bossk, for this very special occasion.”
You can also donate to Scofield's family here. Tickets for the London show will be £22.50 and will go on sale on October 26.
