Back in 2021, guitarist George Lynch and singer Don Dokken shared the stage for the first time in a long time when Lynch hopped on stage during Dokken's June 5, 2021 show in Sunbury, Pennsylvania. The surprising mini-reunion included the Dokken classics “Kiss of Death,” “Tooth and Nail,” and “When Heaven Comes Down.”
Last year, Dokken—who by then had officially reunited with Lynch—was the highlight of the first week of performances at Kiss Kruise XI, putting in a powerhouse set that let everyone onboard know they are back with a bang.
And now, a new compilation, Dokken: The Elektra Albums 1983-1987, is available as of last week. The box set includes the first four Dokken studio albums—Breaking The Chains, Tooth And Nail, Under Lock And Key and Back For The Attack—as either a five-LP or five-CD set. These albums represent what is generally regarded as the Dokken "classic lineup" featuring Dokken (vocals), Lynch (guitar), Jeff Pilson (bass), and "Wild" Mick Brown (drums).
The albums are newly remastered by Andy Pearce (Black Sabbath). Additionally, the LP box is featured on 180g black vinyl. You can also visit the Dokken website today for more news and information.
