Fire In The Mountains, the picturesque metal festival nestled at the base of the Grand Tetons, is in the midst of unveiling their next lineup for 2020. Recently, the organizers announced a massive headliner in the mighty Enslaved.
In addition to that announcement came the news that member Ivar Bjornson would become a curator for this year's iteration. While news on what Bjornson will be bringing to Wyoming remains unseen, the festival organizers have unveiled three very different acts that will be performing on July 11 and 12.
San Antonio, Texas force, Haunter, will bring their unrelenting black death—the band will be coming off a whirlwind 2019 which featured the release of their album, Sacramental Death Qualia. Additionally, epic heavy metal quintet, Eternal Champion, will be in attendance. A few years ago, they released the soaring The Armor of Ire. Does their inclusion at next year's Fire In The Mountains mean new music is on the horizon? Finally, modern funeral doom force Bell Witch will be joined by the folk duo, Aerial Ruin, in what is sure to be an emotionally heavy and evocative performance.
Fire in the Mountains returns to Heart 6 Ranch in Wyoming July 11 and 12. Start planning your trip now—the announcements will only get bigger.
