Following in the footsteps of Black Label Society’s Zakk Wylde, prolific Grammy-Award-winning metallers Judas Priest appeared on American Idol last night. The band showcased their new guitarist and fellow Brit Richie Faulkner as they accompanied finalist James Durbin on the Idol stage performing ‘Breaking the Law’ and ‘Living After Midnight’ from their classic 1980 album British Steel (watch it here).
Earlier this week Priest announced that after extensively touring the planet for over 40 years and with plans already confirmed to bid goodbye to Europe and South America; they would indeed bring their farewell tour ‘The Epitaph Tour’ to US shores this fall.
