Nile is releasing What Should Not Be Unearthed via Nuclear Blast on August 28 and we already know it's going to be the Nile we've come to love over the years by way of a new single! While a new album is enough to look forward to, the band will also be touring the United States through January and February 2016. The band states that there will not be any openers taken along with them for the duration of the tour, but will have local openers instead.
"As longtime supporters of the metal underground, NILE is also happy to announce that this tour will be further blessed by having local metal bands in each city as support acts. Also noteworthy and of special meaning to the band, is the homecoming show at the close of the tour; it has been ten years since we have played in our own hometown."
Cool! So we'll see how that works out.
