Europe is known for their eclectic music festivals. You never know who you'll see sitting next to each other in a lineup. This year's Secret Solstice festival proves that theory correct.
Today, Slayer announced they are headlining the Icelandic Secret Solstice festival. The legendary thrash band shared a flyer for the fest, and due to the time of year, will likely be playing in sunlight or dusk light. If you were expecting more metal bands, you were in for a shock:
I never thought I would see Slayer share billing with Stormzy, Gucci Mane and Steve Aoki, but here we are. With the addition of Bonnie Tyler, one Slayer fan on Facebook had the perfect idea:
This fest happens right after Slayer's final North American tour with Lamb of God, Anthrax, Behemoth and Testament this summer. As a reminder, we are giving away a pair of tickets for each stop of the tour.
This won't be Slayer's first rodeo with an eclectic lineup. The band co-headlined Amnesia Festival in Montreal with Snoop Dogg a few years ago, leading to this incredible photo opportunity.
