System Of A Down began teasing something last week, and pretty much everyone assumed it would be that the band was headlining the Aftershock Festival. While that's true (see below), the band has officially announced they'll be playing four shows on the West Coast with a pretty diverse lineup.
The first show is on October 13 at the Glen Helen Amphitheater in San Bernardino, CA, and will see support from Incubus, At The Drive In, Clutch, Pallbearer, and Skeletonwitch. Then there are three more shows from October 17 to 19, which will just be System of A Down, At The Drive In, and Skeletonwitch.
Here is the routing listed out:
- Oct 13 – San Bernardino, CA – Glen Helen Amphitheater
- Oct 14 – Sacramento, CA – Aftershock Festival
- Oct 16 – Phoenix, AZ – Talking Stick Resort Arena
- Oct 17 – San Diego, CA – Valley View Casino Center
- Oct 19 – Las Vegas, NV – T-Mobile Arena
Check out the flyers below and then quietly hope this means we'll get to hear some of the new System of A Down material that the band may or may not have ready. Oh, and like we said before, System Of A Down will also headline the Aftershock Festival alongside Alice in Chains, Incubus, Godsmack, Shinedown, 311, Slash featuring Myles Kennedy and The Conspirators, At The Drive In, and way more!
San Bernardino, join us Saturday, October 13th at Glen Helen Amphitheater. Tickets on sale this Friday at 10am PT. #letsdothis #soad2018 #sanbernardino pic.twitter.com/a1EDuPWyhe
