A small Wisconsin venue is actively advertising a live concert next month, with ads posted as recently as today, June 23rd. They're calling it "Herd Immunity Fest," a joke playing on the current pandemic, which some argue can only be counteracted with "herd immunity," meaning most of society getting it and developing antibodies. Critics of such an idea say it still leaves too much of a risk of people in more vulnerable health dying. Additionally, there is not sufficient evidence to say that once you contract the virus, you would be immune from getting it again or passing it along to somebody else. But I am no scientist.
Anyway, ThePRP reports the fest is set to take place between July 16th and 18th at the Q & Z Expo Center in Ringle, WI.
Notable bands booked on the show include Static-X, Nonpoint, Dope and a Bobaflex reunion.
Other acts include Blacktop Mojo, Royal Bliss, Flaw, Kaleido, SAUL, Versus Me, a Metallica tribute band called ONE and an AC/DC tribute band called Thunderstruck.
The venue holds about 800 people, and as this photo from a 2019 All That Remains show signifies, doesn't leave much room for social distancing:

However, the advertisement posted today notes that the venue is planning on having this festival outside.

While it seems absolutely inconceivable to have a concert right now, as all major concert promoters are nowhere near promoting any active shows, with Wisconsin lifting all coronavirus safety measures, it seems like this show can go on as planned. A survey showed the state had the second least restrictions behind South Dakota.
Tickets are not cheap, they are listed as $105.50 for a three day pass. The ticketing page makes no mention of any safety measures in place to prevent coronavirus infection.
