Woodstock has unveiled their final lineup for the 50th anniversary show on August 16, 17 and 18th in Watkins Glen, NY – and much like the initial lineup reveal, the closest thing to a metal band would be Greta Van Fleet. Maybe Fever 333? Portugal. The Man? Rival Sons? Amigo The Devil?
So there are metal-adjacent acts, but nothing quite metal, like say Metallica, at Woodstock 1999. Overall, the lineup for the fest looks like any big festival lineup these days, be it Coachella or Governor's Ball or Bonnaroo. It's just another destination festival.
The festival was originally planned for the sight of the first Woodstock, Bethel Woods, but due to financial and physical limitations, the show has been moved to neighboring Watkins Glen. Tickets on sale 4/22. More info on the official website.
