Abbath released his first self-titled solo album, and first post-Immortal effort in 2016. Since then, Abbath has undergone a few lineup changes, leaving just himself and drummer Emil "Creature" Wiksten (ex-Aeon, ex-Blood Red Throne) as the remaining two official members.
Despite this lack of a lineup, Abbath has announced he'll be hitting Dub Studios with producer Endre Kirkesola on December 3. Kirkesola has produced such acts as Blood Red Throne, Green Carnation and In Vain in the past.
No word on if Abbath plans to recruit any additional musicians for the record. I'd imagine we'll probably see the fruits of his labors sometime mid-2019.
