Mastodon drummer Brann Dailor, keyboardist Core Atoms (Zruda, Gaylord), and keyboardist and vocalist Raheem Amlani (Withered), debuted the song "Gas Giant" under the moniker Arcadea in 2015. Arcadea disappeared as quickly as it appeared, which sucked because the band essentially sounded like a Nintendo version of poppy Mastodon.
Arcadea is back in 2017, has signed with Relapse Records, and will release its debut self-titled album on June 16. Still no more new music from Arcadea, so you're just going to have to get re-stoked on "Gas Giant" below.
