AUTOPSY Recording First New Full Length Album Since 2014

You can hear two minutes of it right now.

Autopsy 2022

Autopsy recently split with their bassist Joe Trevisano, who played with the band for the past 11 years. The band then announced Greg Wilkinson (Brainoil, Leather Glove) as their new bassist, who you might know from the aforementioned bands or as the owner of Earhammer Studios, and vowed to continue on with new music. According to Wilkinson's Twitter account, Autopsy is currently in the studio recording their first new album since Tourniquets, Hacksaws and Graves in 2014 (unless you're counting their 2015 and 2017 EPs).

Check out roughly two minute of a new song below.

"I’m actually recording this week as a bass player and not as an engineer for the new Autopsy album," said Wilkinson. "I believe the last time I tracked with an engineer other than myself was some 19 years ago."

In the meantime, check out Autopsy's recent performance at California Deathfest.
