Metal supergroup Corrections House are taking a very DIY approach to making music as the band has recorded their own debut album, and will now release it on October 29 via Scott Kelley's Neurot Recordings.
The debut album, entitled Last City Zero, is a nearly fifty minute long opus that was recorded entirely by the band's Sanford Parker at Electrical Audio, Soma Studios, 60 Psycho Hum, and even at Phil Anselmo's in-home recording studio Nodferatu's Lair.
The eight tracks are said to "deliver a wholly cerebral, impossible-to-pinpoint kaleidoscopic synthesis of mechanical decomposition, atmospheric abnormalities, and poetic putrefaction." If that doesn't sound like pure awesome, then why are you even reading this site?
Corrections House features the crushing abilities of Mike IX Williams (Eyehategod), Sanford Parker (Nachtmystium), Scott Kelley (Neurosis), Bruce Lamont (Yazuka), and the band's recently announced "Minister of Propaganda" Seward Fairbury.
