All the way back in 2014, we talked about Corrosion Of Conformity hitting the studio with ex-guitarist and frontman Pepper Keenan. The band has since posted sporadic updates as to how that was going, and finally they've announced that things will come to a close this week. Corrosion Of Conformity will send their new album off to be mixed next week, which would lead us to assume it'll probably come out maybe late fall or early winter.
Keenan was in Corrosion Of Conformity from 1989 to 2006, at which point the band went on hiatus. Corrosion Of Conformity came back in 2010 without Keenan, and now here we are in 2017. The last time we got a record with Keenan's guitars and vocals on it was 2005's In the Arms of God, so yeah – this is a pretty big deal.
