Deeds Of Flesh was on a pretty regular release schedule right up to 2005's Crown of Souls. Then the band took three years to craft 2008's Of What's to Come, and then five years to crank out Portals to Canaan in 2013.
Now four years since the most recent album, Deeds Of Flesh has announced it's just about done recording a new one! This will be the band's first album with Darren Cesca (Eschaton, Goratory, ex-Arsis), and if the recording process is just wrapping then it's likely that the new album won't be out until early 2018.
Though we're really hoping to cap off 2017 with a new Deeds Of Flesh album.
