The Devin Townsend Project recently said it would be hitting the studio for a new album that focused on moving forward in life called Transcendence. While we're still not entirely clear on the details of the record, Townsend himself revealed via Twitter that Periphery bassist, and studio messiah, Adam "Nolly" Getgood will be involved in the record's making in some capacity or another.
Gear at the studio, Nolly in town, starting tomorrow. I think it's good music, good intention, and good people. Goodnite. :)

Whether Nolly is helping produce the album, or he's playing on it, currently remains a mystery. Townsend's fairly forthcoming with information on Twitter though, so we'll hopefully find out soon enough!
